SEAN MCGARRY - DIRECTOR Qualifications: DipConEcon, BSc (Quantity Surveying), Professional Certificate in Arbitration Memberships: I.A.M.A, M.R.I.C.S Areas of Expertise: Sean has 22 years experience in Quantity Surveying, three (3) years in Ireland and 19 years in Western Australia, working for both professional Quantity Surveying practices and Civil Engineering contractors. Sean was employed by Rider Hunt Pty Ltd in Perth and gained further experience in most aspects of Quantity Surveying and the use of computer packages such as Everest and Ripac. He later joined Leighton Contractors in November 1988 and gained extensive experience in contract administration, estimating and quantity take-offs in civil engineering, mining and building construction. In his last position at Leighton Contractors, he was Administration Manager for the construction of a concrete gravity structure in Bunbury - value $100m. Sean was also involved in all aspects of quantity surveying on a number of construction projects while with Leighton Contractors. In August 1996, Sean established McGarry Associates in Bunbury to provide quantity surveying, construction cost advice and project management in the South West region. Work undertaken since commencement includes provision of a diverse range of construction related services including estimating for contractors sub contractors, professional quantity surveying services, contract administration and project management. Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Surveying Memberships: MAICD Areas of Expertise: Dean is a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 18 years experience in construction, estimating, project management, construction management and contract administration. Projects have included various major civil works (particularly infrastructure highway and drainage works), as well as various major building works (residential, commercial and industrial). His roles have ranged from Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager to Senior Estimator and Contract Administrator. He was also instrumental in commencing and developing a successful building division in a substantial U.K. civil engineering contractor. VINCE PENDAL - NON EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN Vincent Pendal has extensive experience in banking and corporate finance in both the industrial and mining sectors in Australia. He is a Director and Shareholder of Oakvale Capital Ltd, a company registered in Australia, which provides independent advice on financial risk management to a range of leading companies, Government authorities and institutions throughout Australia. He was formally the Chairman of Brandrill Ltd, a company listed on the ASX. He has also served as Chairman of Austral Coal Limited and Perilya Limited, companies listed on the ASX. He is a Life Member of the Kalgoorlie Mining Hall of Fame and is a Life Member of the Perth Football Club.

Areas of Expertise: John has a total of 23 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor. During this time he has also acted in various roles including Contracts Manager, Contracts Specialist, Contracts Administrator and Audit Quantity Surveyor. Since graduating with an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading (U.K.) in 1986, approximately half of his experience has been site based on major building, civil engineering, LNG and infrastructure projects, with the other half office based providing financial services on a wide range of construction projects. Specialisations have included developing standard forms of contract for the Government of Dubai on the Dubai International Airport Expansion Project; specification writing and undertaking financial audits on civil and construction contracts, notably for the British Railways Board on two major projects forming part of the Channel Tunnel development. He has extensive experience in cost management and contracts administration of civil engineering, rail, airport, marine engineering, commercial and public sector building projects, LNG, infrastructure and landscaping projects in Australia, the UK, the Middle East and India under a wide range of procurement arrangements using numerous standard forms of contract, in addition to various “bespoke” contracts. He has worked in a broad range of fields including oil and gas, resources, water, wastewater, civil engineering and building projects. His experience has been gained in various countries including United Kingdom, Nigeria, South Africa and New Zealand prior to joining McGarry Associates.
